The seeing, cutting, stitching, filling, layering and re - firing to develop loofah techniques and visualization on ceramics. Using different methods to integrate natural loofah with clay, complement with the medium, my artworks reveal the changing energy and association between ceramics and materials.
I examine the penetration and change of clay and natural materials. The loofah ceramics brings out the hidden expression and energy of materials. Particles infiltrate each fiber, with an extrasensory level both from within and externally, perfectly trance the flow of energies, with the material’s structure evolving into a purer form.
